Dysautonomia

Do you feel lightheaded when standing, experience heart palpitations, temperature regulation issues, or extreme fatigue? Dysautonomia can cause severe energy depletion. It occurs when the autonomic nervous system—which controls automatic functions like blood pressure, heart rate, and digestion—doesn’t work as it should. This dysregulation places constant stress on the body and can significantly impact your ability to recover energy throughout the day.

If you feel like you’ve tried everything and nothing’s worked, chances are you haven’t addressed the right root cause yet. Think of it like a car—you wouldn’t fix a dead battery by topping up the fuel. The same logic applies to your body: if something’s not working, there’s a physiological reason why.

Identifying and addressing those underlying factors is the crucial first step. And that’s exactly what I help my patients do—through 1:1 sessions, functional testing and my Energy Reset Program—so they can stop guessing and start truly recovering their energy. Join us!

Read on to learn how dysautonomia impacts fatigue, and what you can do about it.

What’s Going On in the Body?

Dysautonomia is a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system (ANS), which controls heart rate, blood pressure, digestion, and energy regulation. When the ANS is out of balance, it can lead to symptoms like fatigue, dizziness, brain fog, and poor temperature regulation.

POTS is one type, where blood pools in the legs upon standing, reducing blood flow to the brain. Other forms include orthostatic hypotension and neurocardiogenic syncope. Dysautonomia is often linked to viral infections, autoimmunity, mold exposure, and connective tissue disorders.

It also disrupts adrenal and mitochondrial function—two key systems for producing and sustaining energy. Identifying root causes is essential for real healing and long-term energy recovery.

What You Can Do About It:

  • Join FIRED UP Energy Reset Program, where we uncover your root causes of fatigue so you can get your energy back for good.

  • Increase blood volume: Electrolytes, compression stockings, and hydration can help stabilize blood pressure.

  • Heal your nervous system: Join either the Vagus Nerve Revival Program or the Neural “rewiring” Program to overcome chronic health issues of all kinds

  • Manage stress levels: Incorporate relaxation techniques like meditation, aromatherapy, or deep breathing to lower cortisol before bed.

  • Optimize oxygenation: Breathing exercises and circulation-supporting nutrients like nitric oxide boosters may improve symptoms.

  • Address underlying triggers: Book a 1:1 consultation with Camille to identify what is causing your dysautonomia. Infections, autoimmunity, and inflammation are likely causes.

  • Testing Options: Tilt table test, autonomic nervous system testing, catecholamine levels, and cortisol/adrenal testing.
